I enjoy playing with words. Today’s word is enlightenment, The Light en me or as you see light is between en and me. The Light within which is always there ever present. Traditionally enlightenment can mean awakening. With mindfulness it is called awareness. Being mindful or aware of the light within always present.
I create stories, have emotions, think many thoughts, and have lots of sensations. None of these things have any effect on the Light, the Source, or the love that is. Knowing this I accept what is and let go of all of it which allows me to bask in the Light, be the Light, shine the Light within and all around me.
Today is the day of surgery to remove a section of my right colon which has a cancerous growth. I shine the Light on the surgeon and all of her team to guide them to a successful conclusion of the procedure. I am at peace and ready to receive their healing hands.
