Gentle Reminder, Mindful Hawaii Community Meeting Sept 21

MINDFUL HAWAII
MANY TRUTHS, MANY PATHS, ONE SOURCE

ALOHA ALL!!

OUR NEXT MINDFUL HAWAII COMMUNITY MEETING WILL BE AT 1 PM SATURDAY 21 SEPTEMBER 2019 AT KAITO GAKKO, 3225 PAKANU ST, NEXT TO THE MANOA CHINESE CEMETERY.

I am pleased to say that we will have someone from the NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS, NAMI (HAWAII), to speak about a very important subject. The presenter will be ANISA WISEMAN, Program Manager, NAMI Hawaii State. Anita is a former Special Education Teacher, Business Owner, a PTSD surviver, and has family members with mental illnesses and substance abuse.

NAMI (HAWAII) is “dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and families affected by mental illness through support, education, advocacy, and awareness. They serve the community by empowering people to confront the profound injustices brought by severe mental illness.”

Don’t miss this presentation on a very important subject. Mark your calendars and plan on being there. Would love to see you.

MINDFUL HAWAII’S INTER-SPIRITUAL COMMITTEE, headed by ROGER EPSTEIN, will present updates on their work to date and a sneak preview of a possibly exciting inter-spiritual activity in 2020 (20-20 Spirituality, my play on words). The work of the Inter-spirituality committee is an important part of Mindful Hawaii’s mission to promote and spread mindfulness wider and deeper into Hawaii.

Please mark your busy calendars for our next Mindful Hawaii Community meeting at 1 pm 12 October 2019, Kaito Gakko. Would love to see you there.

Also, for advance planning , please note on your Calendar our November Mindful Hawaii Community meeting, 1 pm Saturday 9 November 2019.

Mahalo,

Jimmy
